The short version
- We collect only what the app needs: your account, your CV, and the jobs you post or apply to.
- Your CV is private. Only you, the employers you apply to, and our admins can see it.
- Approved job posts are public.
- We use Google services for sign-in, notifications and ads (AdMob).
- We do not sell your personal data.
- You can delete your account at any time, in the app or on this website.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Job Offer Today (package app.com.dev.joboffertoday), an Android app published by Dev Spot Studio Lab in Cambodia, collects, uses and protects your information. By using the app you agree to this policy.
One shared account. Job Offer Today and our other app, Offer Promote Products, use one shared account system. If you create an account in one app, you can sign in to the other app with the same account (same name, email and profile photo).
2. Information we collect
Account and profile
- Sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile photo from your Google account.
- Email sign-up: your name, email address and a password. The password is stored only as a secure hash and can never be read by anyone.
- A profile photo, if you upload one.
Your CV
- The CV you upload (PDF) and an optional photo.
- The text of your CV. It is read on your phone with Google ML Kit text recognition.
- A short summary of your CV. On supported phones the summary is made on the phone with Google's on-device AI. On other phones the CV text is sent to a third-party AI processing service only to create the summary.
- Profile fields you fill in: name, headline, phone number and location (city or province text you type).
Jobs, applications and reports
- Job posts: title, company, location, job type, salary, description, contact email/phone and 1–5 photos.
- Applications: when you apply, a copy of your CV summary and contact details, plus an optional cover note.
- Reports: if you report a job, the reason you choose.
- Ask AI assistant: if you use it, the question you type.
Device and technical data
- A push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can send you notifications.
- The Advertising ID, used by Google AdMob to show ads.
- Basic device information (phone model, Android version, app version), collected by Google SDKs so ads and notifications work.
Stored only on your phone
- The list of articles you have opened (your history) stays on your phone and is not uploaded.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, SMS, call logs, and we do not use your camera or microphone.

3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and let you sign in to both of our apps.
- To show job posts and let you post jobs, upload a CV and apply.
- To send your application to the employer who posted the job.
- To send notifications: job approved or rejected, new applicant, and messages from the admin.
- To review posts, handle reports and keep the community safe.
- To show ads with Google AdMob, which keeps the app free.
- To offer app updates and reviews through Google Play (In-App Update and In-App Review).

6. Android permissions

You choose your CV PDF or photo with the Android system picker, so the app does not need storage permission. When you tap Share or Save on a CV, it is shared through a secure, temporary link.
7. Security
- All data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
- Access rules on our server: you can only change your own data, CVs are private, and reports are visible only to admins.
- Passwords are never stored in readable form.
- Admin review, reporting and blocking help keep the community safe.
No method of storage or transfer is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists.
- In the app: go to Settings → Delete account.
- Without the app: use our Delete your account page, or email tannsophal999@gmail.com from your account email. We complete requests within 30 days.
Deleting your account permanently removes your account, profile, job posts, photos, CV, applications and notifications. Because the account is shared, deleting it in one app deletes it in both apps.
Your article history is stored only on your phone. It stays there until you clear it (Settings → Clear data) or uninstall the app.
9. Children's privacy
Job Offer Today is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
